A day after the Government reported a decrease in Central Excise Duty on petroleum and diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 10 (per litre) separately, individuals across states have some alleviation from the consistently expanding fuel costs. Petroleum is selling at Rs 103.97 per litre in Delhi today, less expensive by Rs 6.07 per litre while the pace of diesel is presently Rs 86.67 per litre, a cut by Rs 11.75.
This is a sharp drop from the previous pace of Rs110.04 for petroleum and Rs 98.42 per litre for diesel.

Petroleum and diesel costs in metro urban cities

In Chennai petroleum is currently selling at Rs 101.40 per litre from the prior cost of Rs 102 for each litre while diesel value presently remains at Rs 91.43.
With the new rate change from today, in Noida, petroleum is currently evaluated at Rs 101.29 per litre and in Gurugram it is Rs 101.71 per litre.
