The son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Thursday in connection with a case of drug use at sea. Arbaaz Merchant and Munmum Dhamecha were also granted bail. Aryan Khan spent nearly three weeks in Mumbai Arthur Road Prison after his previous bail application was rejected by the NCB court. A detailed bail order will be issued tomorrow and until this order, Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun will not be released from prison, where they have been held since October 8. In that case, there is a good chance that Aryan Khan will be released from prison on Friday or Saturday.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday heard the case for three days in a row. Judge NW Sambre granted three suspects bail after hearing Aryan Khan's former AG Mukul Rohatgi and ASG's Anil Singh of the Narcotics Control Bureau.

While the NCB challenged bail by repeating that Aryan Khan was not new to drugs and dealing with traffickers, Mukur Rohatgi argued that the NCB could not prove any conspiracy as he claimed.

The NCB launched a raid on a rave event in which Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun were arrested among others. The case was marred by political upheaval and allegations of misconduct.

On October 21 Shah Rukh Khan met Aryan Khan in jail. The court extended Aryan Khan's custody till October 30. Meanwhile, they decided to approach the Bombay high court.

Meanwhile, the NCB asked documents from Shah Rukh Khan to investigate Aryan's medical history, travel details etc. Bollywood actress Ananya Panday was also called in for questions about Aryan Khan's alleged drug use, as the NCB says Ananya appears to have them. planned to drug Aryan Khan three times.
